I have fallen in love with Gnomes, I love to embroider them, I love to sew them, and I love to make them crazy and colourful. What a wonderful way to get rid of scrap fabric. I can not think of a single person who doesn't smile when they see a gnome. What a wonderful gift that you could personalize for anyone you think of to make them smile. Take a look at how I made my gnome wall hangings and where we got our pattern for our adorable free standing gnomes.
This is a must have for every craft and sewing space! Very easy to make, so much potential for personalizing and decorating! We added a little zipper pocket in ours. I challenge you to add a little something to yours and make it uniquley yours or personal for that special someone you are making it for.
Scarf with hidden pocket
We LOVE this scarf pattern from Patterns for Pirates. It is a scarf with a hidden zipper pocket for your phone/ phone accesories, passports, cash/card, and so much more. We embellished ours with some embroidery and made it all fancy using a velvet type material. It turned out beautiful as a perfect winter accessory. This is a great gift for any practical fashionista.
These pods are just so cute! They can be made for SEW many occasions!
We fould the free pattern and instructions from a great blog site, but we made them a litte different with some embroidery, and applique, we even made some out of ribbon! Check out our instructional tutorial with how I embellished mine using the Brother Scan N Cut SDX225.
So many of us today use our phones or tablets for reading recipes or pattern instructions. This holder could be decorated for a kitchen, a bedroom, a whimsical fun item for sure.
